    The  Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that connects  veterans 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a trained responder. The  service is available to all veterans, even if they are not registered  with the VA or enrolled in VA healthcare.   • Disaster Distress Helpline
    Call 1-800-985-5990 or text “TalkWithUs” to 66746
    The  disaster distress helpline provides immediate crisis counseling for  people who are experiencing emotional distress related to any natural or  human-caused disaster. The helpline is free, multilingual,  confidential, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

2-1-1 (and 3-1-1 in New York City) helps people cut through what can be a confusing and overwhelming maze  of information and resources. The 2-1-1 Helpline is free, confidential and multilingual, and assists people in finding the answers to many different Health and Human Services-related questions. 2-1-1 (and 3-1-1 in New York City) helps people figure out what they need  and links them directly to those resources. It can help with things like locating essential services, seeking volunteer opportunities, obtaining information on starting a small business, etc. It is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
